"Ukraine secures billions in pledges for reconstruction, prompting calls for more funding and asset scrutiny"
The Ukraine Recovery Conference in London attracted about $60 billion in aid to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, including EUR 50 billion from the EU, £3 billion from the UK, and $1.76 billion from the World Bank. The USA, Germany, and Switzerland also announced financial support programs, while the European Investment Bank and EBRD will support Ukraine's reconstruction with EUR 840 million and EUR 600 million, respectively. The partners will continue to financially support Ukraine within a four-year $15.6 billion program from the IMF.
