Nintendo Switch is set to release several new games and accessories in June and July 2023, including Loop8: Summer of Gods, Sonic Origins Plus, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, Pikmin 4, and Disney Illusion Island. The new accessories include Switch buyer's guides and eShop credit. Pre-orders are available for some of the games.
Marvelous Europe has released a new trailer showcasing the various locales of Loop8: Summer of Gods, along with an interview with game designer and scenario writer Yuri Shibamura on the creation of the game's Ashihara setting. Shibamura drew inspiration from the Japanese school system and the landscape of Kure, a place he lived for a while. He also researched the deities historically enshrined in Japanese shrines. Loop8: Summer of Gods is set to release on June 1 in Japan and June 6 worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
