Buffalo Sabres Lock Up Versatile Defenseman Louis Crevier in Four-Year Deal
The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Louis Crevier to a four-year contract extension worth $16 million, securing the 25-year-old through the 2030-31 season. Acquired from Chicago in June, Crevier was set to become a restricted free agent after this season. The deal locks in a versatile, 6-foot-8 blueliner who impressed coach Lindy Ruff during preseason, offering a cost-effective solution for Buffalo's defensive depth as the salary cap rises.
