Indian Navy ships Shivalik and Nanda Devi escorted two Indian LPG tankers across the Strait of Hormuz into the Gulf of Oman toward Indian ports, carrying about 92,700 metric tonnes of LPG; a third tanker, Jag Laadki, was later tracked under escort, with other Indian vessels on standby amid regional tensions.
