Fiat brings the tiny Topolino electric to the US at a bargain price with a catch
Fiat will launch its 8-foot-long, two-seat Topolino EV in the U.S. starting at about $13,995 ($14,985 with destination), offering up to 46 miles of range. Initially limited to speeds up to 25 mph, Fiat will provide a free kit by summer to convert it into a federally regulated low-speed vehicle (LSV) that can operate on public roads with speed limits up to 35 mph; the car will be offered in Topolino and Dolcevita versions and is positioned as a neighborhood-focused, affordable EV extension beyond the 500e.
