Twins Secure Promising Talent with No. 5 Pick in MLB Draft
The Minnesota Twins had an enjoyable Day 1 of the MLB Draft, selecting high school prospects Walker Jenkins and Charlee Soto, as well as college player Luke Keaschall. Jenkins, a five-tool player, was highly praised by scouts and coaches, while Soto impressed with his pitching abilities. Keaschall, a dynamic athlete, had a standout season at Arizona State. The Twins paid tribute to late scout Mike Radcliff by wearing white visors, his signature look. The draft will continue with Rounds 3 to 10 on Monday.
