Portland Police Shoot Suspect in Rosemont Homicide of Handyman Mark Tschamler
Portland police shot and injured Brian Oliver, 41, after he allegedly assaulted and killed 69-year-old handyman Mark Tschamler at 27 Colonial Road in the Rosemont neighborhood on Monday night. Tschamler died at the scene, while Oliver is in custody and faces a murder charge. The Maine Office of the Attorney General is investigating the officers' use of deadly force.
