VR Mod Lets You Drive Mario Kart 64 in First-Person
A fan-made VR mod for Mario Kart 64, built on the SpaghettiKart PC port, drops players into the racer in first-person with head-tracking and adjustable VR options (stereo depth, eye height, HUD). It’s free on GitHub and requires owning or dumping a Mario Kart 64 ROM; Nintendo isn’t backing it. The immersive view can evoke strong speed sensations and may cause motion sickness, especially on fast sections like Koopa Beach.
