China's Role in Global Economic Recovery: Official Perspective
China's top legislator Zhao Leji stated that China aims to be a strong driving force for the world economic recovery by promoting high-quality growth and opening its markets wider to foreign investors. The country plans to make tech innovation a new point of economic growth and expects its import and export of goods to exceed $32 trillion in the next five years. Zhao also promised greater market openness for foreign investors and opposed trade protection and decoupling, emphasizing that "investing in China is investing in the future."
