Miami Beach Approves GTA 6 Marketing Push Amid Heated Debate
Miami Beach commissioners narrowly approved empowering the city manager to negotiate a multi‑million GTA 6 marketing deal with Rockstar Games to advertise the game on signs, beach umbrellas and other city assets. The 4–3 vote came after a contentious discussion in which some officials criticized the tie‑in as inappropriate, while others touted it as a win for gamers. The decision precedes a broader county marketing effort and drew criticism from local law enforcement.
