Rare 6-Planet Alignment to Dazzle Skywatchers in June
Despite media hype about a "planet parade" on June 3, astronomers caution that the event won't be as spectacular as suggested. Only two planets, Mars and Saturn, will be visible to the naked eye, while others will require telescopes or won't be visible at all. However, stargazers can still enjoy a close conjunction of Mars and the waning crescent moon on June 2 and 3, along with other celestial events later in the year.
