Guardians of the Galaxy Encore Edition Launches on Switch 2 with Docked VRR Support
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. Developed by Eidos-Montréal, the port supports the console’s newly enabled docked Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) feature. The game offers two docked modes: Quality at 30 fps and Performance at 40 fps for 120 Hz displays. While docked performance is generally stable, handheld mode suffers from inconsistent frame rates and technical glitches, leading reviewers to recommend docked play for now.
