MCC Brussels Director Resigns Over Unpaid Salaries Amid Hungarian State Asset Seizure
Frank Füredi, executive director of the Brussels-based right-wing think tank MCC Brussels, resigned on Monday, citing unpaid salaries resulting from the new Hungarian government's refusal to fund the organization. The resignation follows the dissolution of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) and the seizure of state assets by Prime Minister Péter Magyar’s administration, which aims to dismantle structures it views as tools of the former Fidesz regime.
