Sammy Brown, a rising senior at Jefferson High School in Georgia, has been named the 2022-23 MaxPreps Male National Athlete of the Year. Brown is a dominant linebacker in football, a state champion wrestler, and a track and field athlete. He has committed to play football at Clemson and hopes to become a first-round NFL draft pick. Brown also excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA and has a backup plan to become a pediatrician if football doesn't work out.
