
NASA's Asteroid Sample Mission: Surprising Discoveries and Insights into Life's Origins
NASA will host a media teleconference and in-person interviews with experts from the agency and the University of Arizona following the public unveiling of the United States' first asteroid sample on October 11. The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft successfully delivered a pristine sample of surface material from asteroid Bennu, and the unveiling event will be broadcasted live. Subject matter experts will be available for interviews in English and Spanish, and media interested in participating must request participation in advance. Additionally, NASA will hold a prelaunch news conference to discuss its upcoming Psyche mission to a metal-rich asteroid.
