Sox rally for five in the sixth to beat Guardians 6-3, snapping the skid
The Guardians jumped in front on Munetaka Murakami’s solo shot, but the White Sox erased the deficit with a five-run sixth, sparked when Colin Holderman loaded the bases and Chase Meidroth lined a two-run bloop single to cap the rally. Chicago then withstood a late Guardians threat, helped by Sean Newcomb in relief, and Colson Montgomery added an insurance run in the eighth as the Sox pulled away to win 6-3 and stop a five-game slide.
