Apple TV Reschedules Jessica Chastain’s 'The Savant' for Spring 2027
Apple TV+ has confirmed that the thriller series 'The Savant,' starring Jessica Chastain, will premiere in spring 2027. The show was pulled from the schedule in September 2025, just days before its original release, due to concerns over its depiction of extremist violence following the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The delay has lasted over a year, with Chastain publicly disagreeing with the initial postponement. The new release date is timed to make the series eligible for the 2027 Emmy Awards.
