RX 9070 Performance Stasis Under Linux 7.1 + Mesa 26.1
Testing the AMD RX 9070 GRE/XT on Linux 7.1 with Mesa 26.1 shows no meaningful performance uplift compared to the Ubuntu 26.04 default stack (Linux 7.0/Mesa 26.0), with a possible regression in the Breaking Limit ray-tracing test on the GRE; overall, the upgrade yields little improvement for these GPUs.
