Washington Commanders Add Former Chargers CB Michael Davis to Roster
The Washington Commanders signed former Chargers cornerback Michael Davis to bolster their secondary, following Kendall Fuller's departure to the Miami Dolphins. Davis, who signed a three-year, $25.2 million extension with the Chargers in 2020, experienced a dip in performance in 2023 due to cornerback room issues and rotation with J.C. Jackson. Despite this, Davis has shown promise and brings speed and length to the Commanders' defense as a quick and lengthy corner.
