The College Football Playoff Management Committee has made several changes to the selection committee, appointing Michigan Athletics Director Warde Manuel as the new chair for the 2024 football season, along with several new members including Patrick Chun, Randall McDaniel, Gary Pinkel, Mack Rhoades, Carla Williams, and Hunter Yurachek.
