US intelligence leaks reveal concerning ties between Russia and UAE.
Leaked reports purporting to be classified US intelligence documents linked to the war in Ukraine have been denied by US spy agencies and several allies. The documents have caused embarrassment for Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, and have also suggested that Ukraine may not be set for a sweeping victory in its anticipated spring counteroffensive, with its air defences vulnerable. Russian forces have been trying to surround and choke off Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut, and have been preparing extensive defences in Crimea.
