Brendan Allen Accuses Dricus du Plessis of Avoiding Him by Choosing Easier Opponents

Brendan Allen extended his winning streak to four by submitting Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Vegas 122 on October 10, 2026. Following the victory, Allen publicly criticized former middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis for avoiding a direct bout with him. Allen argued that du Plessis chose to face Kamaru Usman in July as an easier option, despite Allen being younger, faster, and technically superior. Allen stated he is not chasing du Plessis but expects the former champion to step up, while also confirming he will not fight again in 2026.
