Poland delivers MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, Finland to join NATO.
Poland has handed over the first batch of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine to help fight off Russia's offensive. The transfer of the post-Soviet MiG-29 fighters is the first batch of its kind and will eventually go to Ukraine. Poland will not hand over all its MiG-29s, with some continuing to be used by pilots from the 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork, northern Poland.
