Blues land McMichael, Gastrin and a 2026 first-rounder in Kyrou trade
The St. Louis Blues traded forward Jordan Kyrou to the Washington Capitals in exchange for Connor McMichael, Milton Gastrin, and the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, giving St. Louis four first-round selections in 2026 (11, 15, 16, 29). McMichael had 46 points in 78 games for Washington last season; Gastrin, 19, played in the SHL with 24 points in 39 games; Kyrou posted 46 points in 72 games for the Blues last season.
