EA to Delist Multiple Battlefield Games, Mirror's Edge Spared

EA will be permanently removing Mirror’s Edge, Bad Company 1 & 2, and Battlefield 1943 from all digital storefronts on 28th April as it prepares to shut down the games' online services on 8th December 2023. After that date, owners will still be able to access all offline features in Mirror's Edge and Bad Company 1 & 2, but Battlefield 1943 will no longer be playable.

EA to Delist Battlefield and Mirror's Edge Games from Stores

Electronic Arts is removing Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Mirror’s Edge from online stores in April, ahead of online services for those games shutting down in December. The single-player components of Bad Company, Bad Company 2, and Mirror’s Edge will remain playable. Battlefield 1943, a digital-only multiplayer release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will not be playable after Dec. 8. DICE is currently developing the next games in the Battlefield franchise, following the cool reception to 2021’s Battlefield 2042.

EA to delist and shut down multiple Battlefield games and Mirror's Edge.

EA is delisting and shutting down multiple games, including Battlefield: Bad Company and Mirror's Edge, from digital storefronts starting April 28th. Online services for these games will also close on December 8th. Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Mirror's Edge will be affected. Players can still continue playing Bad Company 1 & 2 and Mirror’s Edge offline. The games are currently included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play.
