Senate Majority PAC Launches $1.2M Mississippi Ad Campaign to Support Scott Colom
Senate Majority PAC has launched a $1.2 million ad campaign in Mississippi to support Democratic candidate Scott Colom against incumbent Republican Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith. The move marks the first significant Democratic advertising push in the state, which has not elected a Democratic senator since 1982. The campaign frames Colom as a prosecutor who fights corruption and portrays Hyde-Smith as ineffective. This strategic shift targets deep-red states amid declining approval ratings for President Trump, as Democrats seek to flip multiple Senate seats to regain majority control.
