Chiefs Kick Off Camp Day 1 in St. Joseph With Morning Practice
The Kansas City Chiefs opened Day 1 of training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, with practice starting at 9:15 a.m. local time. Rookes, quarterbacks and selected veterans were already practicing after arriving Friday for the early portion of camp. Expect cloudy skies and low-80s temperatures, with a slight chance of rain. The session is open only to season-ticket holders, and the team will hold 16 more public practices plus another session for season-ticket members; some sessions require a $7 admission. Reporters on site will provide continuous updates from Arrowhead Pride and other outlets.
