2026 Sports Equinox Unites World Series, WNBA Finals, and Monday Night Football
Monday, October 26, 2026, marks a rare 'sports equinox' where the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL all feature games on the same night. This event is further intensified by the simultaneous WNBA Finals, creating an unprecedented overlap of major professional sports. Key matchups include the Milwaukee Brewers seeking a 3-0 World Series lead against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Dallas Cowboys facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Monday Night Football, and the WNBA Finals Game 3 between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries. While the NFL and MLB games are the primary national broadcast draws, nine NBA games and three NHL contests also occur, offering a dense slate for sports fans.
