MW4 Beta: Steam Attendance Stalls in Second Weekend Despite Warzone Boost
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s second beta weekend on Steam failed to beat the first weekend’s peak, holding roughly 113k concurrent players versus 115,145, even with Warzone integration and a patch that slowed movement, nerfed slides, increased time-to-kill, tweaked spawns, and raised killstreak requirements. Valve data remains the best public metric, while PlayStation/Xbox/Switch 2 figures aren’t disclosed, leaving overall turnout unclear.
