Samsung Electronics announced an exclusive partnership with Activision to become the official TV, monitor, soundbar, and Wi‑Fi speaker partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, integrating HDR10+ GAMING and 32:9 ultrawide support on Odyssey monitors, plus Samsung Gaming Hub streaming, beta access codes, and a Gamescom 2026 presence ahead of the October 23 release.
MW4 will run an open beta on Nintendo Switch 2 from Aug 28 to Sept 1, following an earlier preorder beta on PS5/Xbox/PC; Switch 2 reservations begin Aug 26. The beta features multiple maps, new Operators (including Vault Edition for preorders), up to 19 weapons, and modes spanning 3v3 skirmishes to large-scale battles with tanks, plus Kill Block and a Training Mobility Course. Call of Duty: Next airs on Aug 21 with live gameplay and more ahead of MW4’s Oct 23, 2026 launch.
Xbox and Activision say digitally pre-ordered or pre-purchased Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Standard Digital Edition or Vault Edition unlocks the campaign early on October 16, 2026 across platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS5, Battle.net, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2; the full game launches October 23 and will not be included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass at launch.
