"Tony-Winning 'Kimberly Akimbo' Sets April Curtain Call on Broadway"
"Kimberly Akimbo," the Tony Award-winning musical about a high school girl with a rare genetic disorder, will conclude its Broadway performances in April after a run of 32 previews and 612 regular shows. Despite a modest budget and being overshadowed by larger productions, the musical achieved critical acclaim and plans to start a national tour in September. The original cast, including Tony winners Victoria Clark and Bonnie Milligan, will remain until the end of the Broadway stint.
