Bahrain Naval Base Devastation Leaves 1,250 Evacuated Families Facing Financial Ruin
Iranian strikes on Naval Support Activity Bahrain in March 2026 caused approximately $400 million in damage, forcing the evacuation of over 1,250 military families. The base, previously home to 8,300 personnel, is now largely non-functional, with supply lines rerouted to Diego Garcia. Families face a financial crisis as DoD support expires on Nov. 30, with no blanket extension granted.
