'Fat Leonard' Extradited to U.S. for Bribery Charges in Venezuela Prisoner Swap
Venezuela has handed over a man known as "Fat Leonard," who was at the center of a Navy bribery scandal, to the United States in a prisoner exchange. In return, President Biden granted clemency to a prominent moneyman for President Nicolás Maduro. The deal, confirmed by the White House, also involved the release of 10 detained Americans.
