Vols LB Arion Carter Converts Tackles Into Cancer Charity After Suspension
Tennessee linebacker Arion Carter says he will donate $427 for every tackle (the cost of a flight that led to his NCAA discipline) to cancer research, with additional pledges of $500 per sack, $1,000 per forced turnover and $5,000 per defensive touchdown; he notes his total would have topped $30,000 based on his 2025 production (76 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble). He sat out the opener vs Furman and is set to return for the Week 2 trip to Georgia Tech, providing a boost to the defense.
