EF-3 Tornado Tears Through Fox Valley as Cleanup Begins
National Weather Service confirms an EF-3 tornado struck Appleton, Neenah and Menasha in the Fox Valley, carving a 12.1-mile path with 140 mph winds and a 1,500-yard width, leaving destroyed homes and businesses, downed power lines and snapped trees. Thousands are without power, a curfew is in place in Menasha, several shelters opened, and responders are coordinating cleanup and damage assessment.
