Ukraine disclosed plans for Neptune 2, a new cruise missile, after MBDA signed a cooperation agreement at Eurosatory. While no technical specs were released, MBDA’s expertise in low-observable missiles (such as Storm Shadow/SCALP, Taurus, and Stratus LO) could help Neptune 2 gain stealth features, improved air-defense penetration, and advanced warhead/navigation options, leveraging MBDA capabilities to bolster deep‑strike capabilities and defense cooperation with Ukraine.
