Sony's PSVR2 sells 600k units in just six weeks, outpacing original launch.
Sony has sold almost 600,000 PS VR2 units within the first six weeks of availability, and plans to invest more in developing new franchises for PlayStation over the next few years. By fiscal year 2025, it aims for a 50-50 split of PlayStation Studios investments between old and new IPs. Sony also intends to put more money into live service games like Destiny 2 and MLB: The Show, with 60 percent of its PS5 investments expected to go towards live services by fiscal year 2025.
