Duskbloods to shield new players with skill-based matchmaking on Switch 2
FromSoftware's The Duskbloods on Switch 2 will use a ranked system to pair highly skilled players together while keeping newcomers in their own pool to prevent lopsided matches, with additional ideas like event-driven customization and an Alliance system to help vets mentor newbies; these features aren’t guaranteed at launch and will be refined after the upcoming network test, with the game launching as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive and running a phased test from Aug 21–24.
