Penix Out, Tagovailoa Doubtful Ahead of Week 2
Michael Penix Jr. is out with a knee injury and Tua Tagovailoa is doubtful with an oblique injury ahead of Week 2. Cooper Rush will start for the Falcons against the Panthers, with Jack Strand backing him. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski indicated Penix’s Week 3 status depends on his progression. Other notes: Billy Bowman Jr. out; Chris Lindstrom (concussion) and A.J. Terrell (shoulder) listed as questionable.
