Rangers Activate Montgomery, Designate Kingham to Clear 40-Man Spot
The Texas Rangers activated left-hander Jordan Montgomery from the 60-day IL and designated Nolan Kingham for assignment to clear a 40-man spot; Montgomery is returning from Tommy John surgery and will be used in the bullpen as Texas lines up its rotation around deGrom, Eovaldi, Gore, Rocker and Bradford, while Kingham heads to waivers after a brief stint with the club.
