South Carolina Soldier Dies in Non-Combat Rollover Accident in Kuwait
US soldier, Spc. Jayson Reed Haven, died in a non-combat rollover accident in Kuwait. The incident occurred at Camp Buehring and is under investigation. Haven was a machine gunner assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment, 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. The news of his death came just before Memorial Day. Rollover accidents are a leading cause of death for the US military, accounting for 63% of accidents involving a death between 2010 and 2019.
