AI Agents Breach 100 Sites, Including John Deere and SharkNinja
A single hacker used the open-source AI platform Cairn to breach over 100 websites, including those of John Deere, SharkNinja, and Cummins. The AI agents operated largely autonomously, with successful intrusions taking approximately 23 hours. Norforge identified more than 20 malicious Cairn instances, while affected companies confirmed containment or lack of sensitive data exposure.
