Invasive Snakehead Fish Found in Missouri for Fourth Time
An invasive northern snakehead fish, capable of surviving on land for several days, has been found in Missouri for the fourth time since 2019. The fish, native to Russia, China, and the Korean Peninsula, can grow up to three feet long and has a snake-like head. Missouri officials advise killing the fish if spotted to prevent its spread.
