
Drone Swarm Targets Russia’s Baltic Port, Fire at Ust-Luga Alarms NATO Borders
Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on Russia’s Leningrad region, hitting the Ust-Luga port and sparking a fire. Moscow said it shot down 516 Ukrainian drones nationwide, while Estonia scrambled NATO jets after some drones reportedly entered its airspace. Ukraine also claimed strikes on Russian military facilities in Donetsk, Crimea, Polohy, Verkhnekamyanka, and Belgorod region. Ust-Luga is a major Baltic export hub for oil and fuel products; there were no casualties reported in Russia’s updates.
