Next-gen BMW M3 Tries Mild-Hybrid Six With Grille-Redesign and Manual Hint
BMW’s next M3, due in 2028, is testing with a mild-hybrid version of its updated twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, while adopting Neue Klasse styling and a grille-less front. A manual gearbox could stay “as long as possible,” despite engineering challenges. Power figures are expected to remain in the current range (roughly 473–523 hp) with improved efficiency, and the interior is set to feature large screens.
