Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 Get Native Switch 2 Ports in Anniversary Drop
Square Enix released native Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler 2, launching as digital downloads today after an anniversary livestream. The releases are expected to mirror the existing content with a resolution upgrade, and come after both titles were previously playable on Switch 2 via backward compatibility. The games retain HD-2D visuals, feature eight travelers with unique Path Actions, and use the series’ turn-based combat and job development systems.
