Fountain 0 and director Ash Koosha are releasing an AI-generated 135-minute film called Odysseus: The Fall, based on Homer’s Odyssey. The project uses the Kling AI video generator and notes-based scripts, features 12 human likenesses including Koosha as Odysseus, and had a mid-five-figure budget. Described as a rapid, exploratory example of AI filmmaking, the film is intended to spark discussion about AI’s role in cinema and will be available to rent or buy on Fountain 0’s site later this summer, with licenses limited to the Odysseus character.
