New surveillance footage widens Worcester probe into veteran officer’s death
Worcester police released new surveillance video of Karen Solomon, the woman sought in connection with the death of veteran officer Kurt Solomon. The footage appears to be from the Westside Animal Clinic and is timestamped Tuesday morning just before 5:45 a.m. as investigators expanded the search into a second day, including searches at Coes Pond with helicopters. Police say Solomon may be armed and dangerous. Solomon is also the founder of First Help, a nonprofit aiding families of fallen officers.
