Oklahoma congressional candidate admits 2022 affair, suspends campaign and ministry
Oklahoma pastor and former congressional candidate Jackson Lahmeyer acknowledged an affair from 2022 in a Daily Mail interview, apologized to his wife, Trump, constituents and his church, and announced he is suspending his campaign and taking a sabbatical from preaching as he steps back from politics; Trump later withdrew his endorsement and backed Mark Tedford in the race for Oklahoma’s 1st District.
