Oprah Enters Exclusive Amazon Pact for Podcast, Book Club and TV Archive
Oprah Winfrey has signed a multiyear exclusive deal with Amazon via Harpo Productions and Wondery to bring The Oprah Podcast, Oprah’s Book Club, Oprah’s Favorite Things, and The Oprah Winfrey Show back catalog to Amazon platforms (video and audio) with ad sales rights; Wondery will distribute across Prime Video, Amazon Music, Fire TV Channels and Audible, while availability continues on YouTube and major podcast apps. The Oprah Podcast will add two new weekly episodes starting this summer, and Amazon is still deciding how to present the Show’s old TV episodes. Financial terms were not disclosed.
